Terms & conditions

1. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all offers, quotations and agreements of BOS Lighting regarding the sale and delivery of lighting products and accessories.

2. Offers and quotations

All prices on the website are in euros and exclude 21% VAT unless stated otherwise. Quotations are without obligation and valid for 30 days unless indicated otherwise. Images and specifications are indicative.

3. Formation of the agreement

An agreement is formed when BOS Lighting confirms an order in writing (by email).

4. Prices and payment

Payment is made according to the term stated on the invoice. In case of late payment, statutory interest and collection costs may be charged.

5. Delivery and risk

Stated delivery times are indicative. Risk of the products passes to the customer upon delivery.

6. Warranty

Our products carry a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects from the date of delivery. Within this period, products with a demonstrable manufacturing or material defect will be repaired or replaced free of charge, at the discretion of BOS Lighting.

The warranty lapses or does not apply in cases including:

  • damage caused by the customer or third parties themselves;
  • incorrect, improper or careless use, or use contrary to the manual or specifications;
  • normal wear of parts (such as LEDs, bearings and consumables);
  • damage from overload, incorrect mains voltage, short circuit or insufficient cooling;
  • water or moisture damage beyond the product's stated IP rating;
  • repairs, changes or modifications not carried out by or on behalf of BOS Lighting;
  • transport damage occurring after delivery.

Warranty claims must be reported in writing within a reasonable period after discovery via info@bos-lighting.nl.

7. Liability

BOS Lighting's liability is limited to the invoice amount of the relevant product. BOS Lighting is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including lost revenue or damage to third parties.

8. Returns

Returns are only possible after prior consultation and written approval. Products must be returned undamaged and in their original packaging.

9. Intellectual property

All text, images, product designs and brand names on this website are the property of BOS Lighting and may not be used without permission.

10. Governing law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where BOS Lighting is established.
